Welcome to the Wakeford Digital blog

January 1, 2016

Im excited to finally launch and share with you the updated Wakeford Digital website, including portfolio and blog section.

"Dude, I remember talking to you about three months ago and you said you were almost ready to launch".

This was a comment from one of my best mates a few weeks ago, and it got me thinking - it really has taken a significant amount of time. I recently heard a quote around how 'the builders house is never finished, the mechanics car is never serviced..." and in many ways this is true. Between the balance of designing for my other clients and creating a product that truly embodied what Wakeford Digital was about - it has been an incredibly long and testing process.

Long story short however, here we are - the second iteration of the Wakeford Digital website now live. My initial efforts at developing and maintaining a website for myself was good, it did the job, but I really felt it didn't represent the focus and style of Wakeford Digital. This is where the improvements come in this website update, and why I am so excited to hit the launch button. It will always be a work in progress, but that is a part of the excitement. I have a list of blog posts to publish, as well as continuing to update the work page with both previous and new projects once they too are established.

As always, I welcome any feedback of the website and Wakeford Digital as I continually seek to improve both fronts. Please feel free to contact me via the contact page, the Wakeford Digital Facebook Page or email me through dominic@domin8designs.com.au. Any comments and constructive criticism is always welcome.

Without a doubt, I have to say thank you to the support team who have helped me get to this point - including my clients and close friends who have provided invaluable feedback along the way, my sister for her input, but particularly my parents; whom are an integral part of the Wakeford Digital team, and never hesitate to provide insight when I constantly pester them with new ideas and schemes. So thank you.
