Wineglass Bay Day

Saturday, March 26, 2016

It had been a little while since I'd had the GoPro out, let alone the camera, so I thought this was a good opportunity to get some footage of one of Tasmania's tourism icons in Wineglass Bay in the Freycinet National Park. I did take the drone along also, however Parks and Wildlife are still finalising a their policy around drones - and whilst I was a disappointed, I certainly understand and respect the sensitivity of the area and the other people using it.

It was an awesome hike in with the family, despite battling some ongoing soreness in my leg due to a running injury, we made it down to Wineglass in one piece and had a picnic on the white sanded beach.
