A recap video of some of the best moments from the 2017 MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival, held across Hobart’s picturesque waterfront.

PROJECT WRAP

The 2017 MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival video is a great balance between the event itself, but also the array of people who attended. 

No longer does the festival only attract those interested in boats, however having spent significant time there across the duration, a variety of people and interests.

A particular highlight each year is the 'quick n dirty' boat building competition, featuring a heap of kids knocking up boats which are then paraded and sailed around Consitution Dock. The rain didn't quite hold off this year, but added to the spectacle that was wet and wild.

Of course, the video also contains a plethora of the focus itself - the amazing wooden boats of different age, construction type and intricacies. The final video can be found in the player below.
